Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Websurfer LLC ("Websurfer," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit our website, request a demo or call, purchase a plan, or use the websites and client portal we build and host for you. By using our website or services, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
Websurfer builds premium websites, automated booking, and a single client portal ("Pipeline") for local home-service businesses, primarily on the New Hampshire Seacoast. If you have questions about this policy, contact us at hello@websurfer.co.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Contact & business details — your name, business name, email address, phone number, address, industry, and similar information you submit through our forms, demo and call bookings, checkout, or onboarding intake.
- Project content — logos, images, text, service descriptions, hours, reviews, and other materials you provide so we can build and operate your site and portal.
- Account & portal data — the leads, contacts, appointments, conversations, and other records that flow through the client portal we provide to you.
- Communications — messages you send us by email, form, chat, or phone.
Payment information
Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. We do not collect or store full card numbers on our own systems; the provider handles your payment details under its own security standards and privacy policy.
Information collected automatically
When you visit our website, we and our hosting and service providers may automatically collect limited technical data such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and referring pages. Some of this is collected through cookies and similar technologies — see our Cookie Settings.
3. How we use information
- To provide, build, host, operate, and maintain your website and client portal;
- To respond to inquiries and schedule demos and calls;
- To process payments and manage your subscription and billing;
- To send service, onboarding, billing, and account communications;
- To operate the booking, follow-up, review, and marketing automation features you've signed up for;
- To secure, troubleshoot, analyze, and improve our website and services;
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Service.
4. How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers / subprocessors — companies that power our services, including our CRM, booking, and automation platform (GoHighLevel / LeadConnector), our website hosting provider (Vercel), our email delivery provider, and our payment processor. They may process information only to provide services to us.
- On your behalf — when your customers interact with the site or portal we operate for you, the resulting data is processed for you, the business owner.
- Legal & safety — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights, users, or the public.
- Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
5. Cookies and tracking
Our website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies, including cookies set by embedded third-party tools such as booking and chat widgets. We do not currently use advertising or cross-site targeting cookies. For details and how to control them, see our Cookie Settings page.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When you cancel, we retain your information only as long as reasonably necessary, and we provide an opportunity to export your portal data before it is removed (see our Terms of Service).
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect information, and we rely on reputable providers (hosting, CRM, payments) that maintain their own safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, or to opt out of certain communications. To make a request, email hello@websurfer.co. You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails; we may still send you necessary service and account messages.
9. Third-party links and services
Our website and the portals we build may link to or embed third-party services. Their use of your information is governed by their own privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their practices.
10. Children's privacy
Our website and services are intended for businesses and are not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above, and material changes will take effect when posted. Your continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
